Years before there was the Internet, email or social media, the certification network group formed and provided connections to all facets of a rapidly evolving and hard-to-explain credentialing world. The most important, daily activity of every member of the group is simply staying current with their contact information and making sure others in the group know how to spot and gain access to the people who have the answers, experiences or support every member needs sometime during the year. The CNG Member Center, supplemented by the LinkedIn Group called Certification Network Group, is where you come to update information about you and your work. Personal contact plus this virtual center is the secret to how we connect, empower, support and share our stories of what it takes to achieve success in certification programs. Come back often. Professional Networking Tips
First of all, find the right network. If you have anything to do with certification, at any level and in any role, the Certification Network Group is the only one of its kind. Your account means that you have a home here.
Next, keep your contact information current -name, address and email, here in the CNG Member Center. What can you do here? Create an account, choose or change your password and come back to update your information when you change jobs.
Take networking to the max and boost your career as well as your intelligence in certification by creating an account on LinkedIn and connect your LinkedIn profile, recommendations, referrals, affiliations, etc. to you CNG record. You do that by going to the Groups Search bar in LinkedIn, find the Certification Network Group and simply ask permission to join. Most of the time you’ll find that you are pre-approved if you started your networking here on the CNG website.
